Richmond Shares is a website project that is operated by the Richmond Women’s Resource Centre. 

 

If you find yourself in need of an item, you can view a list of items available. Have something to donate? Instead of throwing away unwanted items, you can post them here for free.

 

Richmond Women's Resource Centre was formed in 1976 and is a non-profit organization. We provide information, referral support, encouragement, education and training so women are better equipped to make decisions in their own lives. Richmond Shares is part of RWRC and is dedicated to serving low income families in Richmond. We welcome any like minded individuals or representatives of agencies to join us in our community work. This website (Richmond Shares) was developed as a result of wanting to encourage community giving and sharing above and beyond the peak seasons of giving to a year round practice. It provides a virtual place for you to post an item that you would like to donate.

• You can share by posting items that you would like to donate for low-income residents of Richmond.
• Please remember this site is not for posting items for sale - donation only.
• Your personal information will NOT be available to the public, only the listing and descriptions will be displayed.
• To ensure integrity, only participating agencies that work with low-income families in Richmond will have access to the personal contact information that you provide.
• Pick up and delivery will be arranged with the donor and recipient, agencies may offer help in this matter, only to the best of their ability.
• We will not divulge or sell your contact information to any organization. If you would like to receive updated information, you can choose to do so.
